Provide a forum for agencies and individuals, both public and private, to share information and resources related to prevention, treatment, and positive youth development.

 Present the annual Showcase of Community Resources to educate the public and increase the awareness of prevention, intervention and treatment programs and services.

Coordinate county-wide prevention and positive youth development efforts.

 Encourage local school/community cooperation in networking.

 Promote and support the annual Orange County Student Alcohol, Tobacco, Drug, and Violence Prevention Poster Contest.

 Promote multiple-agency collaboration toward innovative prevention ideas.

 Inform membership of regional, state, and national prevention planning and training efforts.

 Provide advocacy for legislative support.

 Provide funding for prevention and youth development projects.

 Reflect and fulfill the policies of the Orange County Substance Abuse Prevention Network Executive Committee.
